V4 – Analog Sensor / TC7107 Cruise System

Introduces an analog sensor concept using an analog input stage and display/comparator logic for speed indication.

Circuit Explanation

An LM35 analog sensor stage produces a voltage proportional to the simulated speed input. The TC7107 ADC/display driver converts this analog value to a digital display, while comparator logic still produces the cruise warning and LED range indications, demonstrating an analog acquisition alternative to pure counters.

Limitations & special logic notes

The analog approach adds calibration complexity and the digital comparator interface is less direct, so the project returned to counter-based designs for the final version.
